Emma loves to play with her babies and likes to pretend she is a Mommy. She does a great job at giving them a bottle and asking them "Are you okay, baby"? Too precious. :)
Emma giving her babies a "bottle"
Emma is doing really well with speaking and will repeat anything you say and come up with
her own sentences on her own. She can say 4 word sentences and more. She shocked my Mom, Lana and I as we were driving home from Hadley's baby shower in June and it as raining, she said "Rain Rain go away"!!!! We all couldn't believe it, it came out of nowhere. Too Funny!!!!So proud of her, she is the big talker right now. Health wise she is doing great, and has had a pretty good year with just the normal viruses. However, in January we had a big scare when we found out she is allergic to Penicillin. Scary! She was on the antibiotic for an ear infection, and on day 7 she broke out in a horrible rash (see pictures below). Then Day 8 she woke up and looked like a burn victim. The rash covered her entire body and was a dark red. She was miserable. I ran her by my Pediatrician's sons basketball game here in the neighborhood (it was a Saturday and she had just seen her Friday, but wanted to look at her before heading to the ER- our Dr is amazing. We love Dr. Jill Eddings and the staff.) Anyway, so off we went to the ER and they saw Emma right away. I was SO scared, but glad it was only this and they gave us a prescription. So a week later it was all gone and I had my Emma back. Bless her heart.

My Poor sweet Emma swollen- at the hospital. |
Emma's a very good eater and will try everything. She loves sweets like her momma. Her favorite breakfast is cinnamon rolls and strawberries. However most mornings we just have strawberries, yogurt, cereal, and bananas. Lunch is normally a grilled cheese sandwhich that she likes to tear apart and eat, along with turkey breast, strawberries, blueberries, watermelon and cheetos. lol!! They love to snack on blueberries and blue bell vanilla ice cream or goldfish.
Dinner, hmmm? Going through a stage now where I can't find what the babies want. Our go to is deer sausage, mac and cheese (they will ONLY eat Velvetta shells), and of course fruit. They love french fries too. I wish they ate more healthy, but what do you do??!! Another fave with all 3 is guacomole and baked lays. Yummo! (mommy's fave too) Oh lord, the diapers are nasty after a day of blueberries and guacomole. Ha! Speaking of diapers-- Emma is almost a big girl!! She goes potty 5 or more times a day in the potty and also will go number 2!! So proud of her. She makes it easy for me, she loves to go. It's fun for her!
Growing up way too fast and loves taking care of everybody!! Such a sweet blessing!! We love you Emma Marie. Here are some pictures from the past year.
